【摘要】:Thistestmethodisusedwherehighaccuracyofvelocityorcontinuousdischargemeasurementoveralongperiodoftimeisrequiredandothertestmethodsofmeasurementarenotfeasibleduetolowvelocitiesinthechannel,variablestage-dischargerelations,complexstage-dischargerelations,orthepresenceofmarinetraffic.Ithastheadditionaladvantagesofrequiringnomovingparts,introducingnoheadloss,andprovidingvirtuallyinstantaneousreadings(1to100readingspersecond).Thetestmethodmayrequirearelativelylargeamountofsiteworkandsurveyeffortandisthereforemostsuitableforpermanentorsemi-permanentinstallations.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthemeasurementofflowrateofwaterinopenchannels,streams,andclosedconduitswithafreewatersurface.1.2Thetestmethodcoverstheuseofacoustictransmissionstomeasuretheaveragewatervelocityalongalinebetweenoneormoreopposingsetsoftransducers-bythetimedifferenceorfrequencydifferencetechniques.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.SpecificprecautionarystatementsaregiveninSection6.
