【摘要】:ThesignificanceoftheLCAmethodisthatitisacomprehensivetechniquefortakingintoaccountallrelevantmonetaryvaluesovertheprojectdesignlifeandprovidesameasureofthetotalcostofthematerial,system,orstructure.TheLCAmethodcanbeeffectivelyappliedinboththepreconstructionandbidstagesofprojects.Afterbidsaretaken,realcostscanbeusedinsteadofestimates.1.1Thispracticecoversproceduresforleastcost(lifecycle)analysis(LCA)ofmaterials,systems,orstructuresproposedforuseintheconstructionofconcreteculvert,stormsewer,andsanitarysewersystems.Note18212;Asintendedinthispractice,examplesofanalysesinclude,butarenotlimitedtothefollowing:(1)materials-pipeliningsandcoatings,concretewallthicknesses,cements,additives,etc.;(2)systems-circularpipe,boxsections,multiplelines,forcemains,etc.;and(3)structures-wetanddrywells,pumpandliftstations,etc.1.2TheLCAmethodincludescostsassociatedwithplanning,engineering,construction(bidprice),maintenance,rehabilitation,replacement,andcostdeductionsforanyresidualvalueattheendoftheproposedprojectdesignlife.1.3Foreachmaterial,system,orstructure,theLCAmethoddeterminesinpresentvalueconstantdollars,thetotalofallinitialandfuturecostsovertheprojectdesignlife,anddeductsanyresidualvalue.1.4MajorfactorsintheLCAmethodincludeprojectdesignlife,servicelife,andrelevantinterestandinflationrates.
