【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoversthreetypesofurea-formaldehydethermosettingresinadhesivessuitableforuseonwood,wood-basedsubstrates,orplasticlaminates.1.2ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareprovidedforinformationonly.1.3Therequirementsfortheadhesivearebasedontestsofphysicalpropertiesincludingviscosity,density,nonvolatilecontent,pH,insolublematter,amylaceousmatter,mixingproperties,workinglife,andonstrengthproperties,includingdryshearstrengthinlumber-typejoints,dryandwetshearstrengthinplywood-typejoints,andallstrengthtestsattheendofthestoragelifecertifiedbythemanufacturer.1.4Thefollowingsafetyhazardscaveatpertainsonlytothetestmethodportion,Sections8through13,ofthisspecification:Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
