【摘要】:Thispracticeisusedasaguidefortheinstallationofchemicalgroutinthepracticeofsealingsewermanholesfromleaks,cracks,andaroundpenetrations.Itisattendedtoassistsewerownersandengineer,ownerx2019;srepresentative,orauthorizedinspectorsforinstallationmethodspecificationandforcontractorstorefertoduringinstallationsofchemicalgroutformanholesealing.1.1Thispracticecoversproposedselectionofmaterials,installationtechniques,andinspectionrequiredforsealingmanholesusingchemicalgrout.Manholesorsectionsofmanholeswithactiveleaksshallberepaired.Manholestobegroutedareofbrick,block,cast-in-placeconcrete,precastconcrete,orfiberglassconstruction.Manholesorsectionsofmanholeswithactiveleakswillbedesignatedbytheengineer,ownersrepresentative,orauthorizedinspector,formanholegrouting.1.2Thecontractorshallberesponsibleforfurnishingalllabor,supervision,materials,equipment,andinspectionfollow-uprequiredforthecompletionofchemicalgroutingofmanholedefectsinaccordancewiththecontractdocuments.1.3Materials,additives,mixtureratios,andproceduresutilizedforthegroutingprocessshallbeinaccordancewithmanufacturersrecommendationsandshallbeappropriatefortheapplication.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch/poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesinparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
