【摘要】:Thisspecificationestablishesrequirementsandcharacteristicsoflowenergyairgunprojectileswhichhelpdefinewhetheralowenergyairgunprojectileissuitableforuseinthesportcommonlycalledairsoft,airsoft,orsoftair.Furthermore,thespecificationestablishesminimumwarningandpackagelabelingtohelpensurethatthelowenergyairgunprojectilesareusedinasafemannerandthattheriskofinjuryisreduced.Limitations-Thisspecificationdoesnotcoverthefollowingcategoriesofprojectiles:ProjectilescoveredbyConsumerSafetySpecificationF590(non-powdergunsprojectiles),SpecificationF1979(paintballs),SpecificationF2573,andSpecificationF2574;liquidfilledormetallicprojectiles,toyproducts,andnon-recreationalprojectilessuchasthoseusedbylawenforcement,scientific,ormilitaryagencies.ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
